Concord, N.C. — Malik Taylor, a 28-year-old TikTok creator celebrated for his pop culture commentary and comedy skits, tragically died in a car crash in Concord on Aug. 20.
Police say the accident happened around 7:44 a.m. on Lapis Lane NW. When officers arrived, they discovered a Nissan Rogue that had veered off the road and down a 20-foot embankment. Taylor was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and no other cars were involved in the incident.
Authorities believe alcohol may have contributed to the crash. The medical examiner confirmed Taylor’s cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries.
Taylor had built a loyal following on TikTok with his entertaining breakdowns of trending topics and lighthearted skits, earning admiration from fans for his humor and creativity.
